
My fascination with Taekwondo is hard to put in words but I tried to do so nonetheless by contributing a chapter to an e-book published by Seth Godin in conjunction with “Triiibes”. Chaeck out page 10 of the Tribes Casebook if you like.
Also in 2008 I was fortunate to visit the Kukkiwon, home of the World Taekwondo Federation in Seoul, Korea, for the first time in my life. I put together some impressions of this visit in a slide show which you can see here: Kukkiwon 2008.
Over the years I created a set of documents that turned out to be quite useful in preparing for testings. These documents are in no way suited, intended or authorized to replace the official curriculum but they serve us well as Quick Reference (a.k.a. “Cheat Sheets”) to remind us of the basic elements of forms, self defenses and kicking combinations for each belt or stripe. They are free to download but restricted to personal, non-commercial use. Here they are:
